Terms of Service

Jadwalik (jadwalik.com) and the Telegram bot @JadwalikBot — commercial registration no. 7055288521, Saudi Arabia. In these terms, "we" means Jadwalik, and "the service" means the website and the bot together.

By using the service you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

1. What the service does

Jadwalik is a digital platform that helps students at Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University to:

• Search published courses and sections: times, instructor, room and seats
• Build a schedule with time-conflict detection, and use the smart schedule builder to get the best combinations for their preferences
• Monitor full sections and get a Telegram alert the moment a seat opens, during registration periods
• Track their degree plan, calculate GPA, and get next-term suggestions and a graduation estimate
• Follow their day: today's classes, absences, course deadlines and Telegram reminders
• See free rooms, the final exam schedule and the academic calendar
• Read and contribute anonymous instructor ratings
• Upload photos and files to a course, and share them with section-mates if they choose
• Ask the Jadwalik AI assistant on the website and in the Telegram bot

Some features are free for everyone; others come with the term subscription or the emergency alert add-on (section 3).

2. Your account

• Sign-in uses your Google account; you are responsible for keeping it secure
• Accounts are personal — they may not be shared, sold, or transferred. A subscription belongs to your account and cannot be moved to another one
• The data you enter (completed courses, grades, schedule) is your responsibility, and result accuracy depends on it

3. Plans, subscription and payment

Plans and prices

• Prices shown are final; we add no fees or taxes at checkout. The price that binds you is the one shown on the plans sheet before you confirm payment
• We do not sell priority: the section-checking interval is the same for every user, free or paid

Duration and which term it covers

• A subscription covers one term: it starts the moment you pay and ends on the last day of that term's final exams, per the published academic calendar
• If you pay during a term's registration period (except its last 3 days), your subscription is for that term
• If you pay in the last 3 days of a registration period, or outside registration periods, your subscription is for the next term (the term whose registration period comes next), and the time from payment until then is a gift from us
• The summer term is a term like any other
• Before paying, the plans sheet shows you the term name and the subscription end date; your receipt repeats them

How payment works

• You pay once per term: no auto-renewal, no recurring charges, and we do not store your card. For another term, you subscribe again yourself
• Payment happens on the page of an independent online payment gateway, which shows the available methods (such as mada, Apple Pay and credit cards). You enter your card details on the gateway's page; they never reach us
• The gateway requires a mobile number to complete payment: it must start with 05 and have 10 digits. We save it to your account (see the Privacy Policy)
• Your subscription activates immediately once our system confirms directly with the gateway that the amount was actually charged
• You get a receipt on Telegram (if your account is linked) showing the order number, term and price, add-on, discount and credit used, amount paid, transaction number, date and subscription end date. You can ask us for a copy at any time
• If you start a payment and don't finish it, the order is cancelled automatically after 24 hours and any credit held for it returns to your balance
• If you were charged but your subscription did not activate, contact us with the order number: we will activate it or refund the full amount

Discounts and credit

• Invites: every user has an invite code. Someone who signs up with your code gets SAR 3 off their first subscription, and you get SAR 5 credit as soon as they pay
• Rating credit: every 5 instructor ratings accepted after manual review earn you SAR 5 credit. Each instructor counts once for you, one request is accepted per term, and if we reject a request we tell you why
• Validity: credit is valid for the rest of the term it was granted in plus two more terms; the soonest-expiring credit is used first. Credit that expires, or belongs to a deleted account, lapses without compensation
• Use: credit is deducted automatically from the order, but you pay at least SAR 10 on every order (or the full order amount if it is less than SAR 10). Any unused credit stays in your balance
• Credit and discounts have no cash value: they cannot be cashed out, transferred to another account, or refunded as money
• We may change discount and credit amounts in future; credit already granted to you is not affected
• We cancel any credit or discount shown to come from fake accounts, duplicate ratings or any other abuse

Price changes

We may change prices and plans for future terms, and will announce any change in the app before it applies. A change never affects a subscription you have already paid for. If we become legally required to charge VAT, it will be added to subscriptions for future terms only.

4. Refund policy

Our service is digital, activates immediately, and you can benefit from it from the moment you pay. So:

Refunds within 7 days

You can ask for a refund within 7 days of payment, without giving a reason, provided you have not used any paid feature. Paid features are:

• Watching more than two sections, or watching every section of a course
• A second or third schedule
• The AI assistant's personal tools
• Receiving any emergency alert

This is your right to cancel under the Saudi E-Commerce Law.

Cost of a refund

The payment gateway charges a fee on every transaction. If you ask for a refund yourself, we deduct from the refund the payment and refund fees the gateway charges on your transaction and does not return to us, up to SAR 3, and we tell you the amount before we process it. We deduct nothing when the mistake is ours (the first case below).

After 7 days or after using paid features

We do not refund a subscription more than 7 days after payment, or after any paid feature has been used. We will still handle these cases at any time:

• You were charged twice, or charged without your subscription activating: we refund the extra or unactivated amount in full with no deduction, or activate your subscription if you prefer
• You could not activate the emergency alert on your phone: we refund the add-on, less its fees (see above), if you ask within 7 days of payment and have not received any emergency alert
• A fault on our side: if paid features stopped working because of a fault on our side for a significant time during a registration or add/drop period, we compensate you with credit based on how long the outage lasted and how it affected you. If the outage lasted through the entire registration and add/drop period, we refund what you paid in full. This does not cover outages of the university website, Telegram, Pushover, the internet, or your phone

Not refundable

• Credit and discounts, as they have no cash value
• A subscription suspended for breaching these terms (section 11)
• A subscription on the grounds that you did not get a seat: an alert is only a heads-up, and seats are first-come in the university system (section 7)
• Reaching the AI assistant's usage limits (section 5)
• Anything you pay to a third party

How to request a refund

• In the Telegram bot @JadwalikBot, write your request and choose to send it to the Jadwalik team (📩), or email jadwalik@gmail.com. Include the order number from your receipt
• We reply within 3 business days
• The money goes back to the same payment method through the gateway; when it reaches your account depends on your bank and may take two weeks or more
• Any part you paid with credit comes back as credit
• The subscription (or add-on) ends when the refund is made, and any related credit or discount is cancelled

Bank disputes

If you have a problem with a payment, contact us first — we can usually fix it faster. If you open a dispute with your bank over a transaction:

• We suspend the related subscription until the dispute is resolved
• We provide the bank with the payment, activation and usage records
• If the dispute is decided in your favour, the subscription ends and any related credit or discount is cancelled
• We may decline future subscription orders from an account that disputed a transaction it benefited from

A permanent shutdown of the service has its own refund arrangement in section 13.

5. The Jadwalik AI assistant

• It works on the website and in the Telegram bot. Its general tools (guide, calendar, sections, instructors, rooms, finals, support ticket) are open to everyone, even without an account; its personal tools (your schedule, day, absences, deadlines, plan, GPA, graduation estimate, schedule builder, reminders) are for subscribers
• Its answers are guidance and may be wrong. They are not an official opinion of the university or your academic advisor. Check anything important against the official source before relying on it
• It relies on the data you entered (schedule, plan, grades) and has no access to university systems — so an empty schedule on Jadwalik does not mean you have no classes
• It suggests; it does not act: any action (such as logging an absence, adding a deadline, section, watch or reminder, or opening a support ticket) only happens when you confirm it yourself
• It does not solve homework, exams or any graded work, and never gives one student's data to another
• It has daily and monthly usage limits to keep the service running, which we may adjust. Reaching any limit is not a service outage and is not grounds for a refund
• Your questions are processed by an external AI provider; see the Privacy Policy

6. Emergency alert

• An optional add-on to the term subscription that delivers your alerts through the Pushover app with a sound that rings even when your phone is on silent, repeating until you acknowledge it
• Pushover is an independent app with its own terms. Activation means installing and linking it using the steps sent to you on Telegram after purchase, and depends on your phone's settings and permissions
• The app is free for a trial period and may ask for a purchase afterwards; the activation steps explain how we handle that
• The add-on makes sure you don't miss an alert — it does not make you faster than anyone else: the checking interval is the same for all
• If you cannot activate it, see section 4

7. Limitation of liability

We work to keep the service accurate and running, but:

• We do not guarantee notification delivery. Alerts may be delayed or missed if the university site, Telegram, Pushover, or the network is down
• We do not guarantee you a seat in any course. An alert is only a heads-up; seats are taken first-come through the university system
• Course data may lag. We read the published university schedule periodically, so the status shown may differ from the current moment. The university system is the authoritative reference
• GPA and credit calculations are indicative. Your official academic record and academic advisor are the authoritative source
• The AI assistant's answers are guidance and may be wrong (section 5)
• We accept no liability for academic, financial or other loss arising from reliance on the service

Our maximum liability in any case does not exceed the amount you paid in cash for the subscription the claim relates to.

8. Instructor ratings

Ratings are personal student opinions and do not represent the site's view. When posting a rating you agree not to:

• Insult, defame, or use abusive language
• Publish personal information about any instructor
• Post false, duplicate, or deliberately damaging ratings
• Post anything unlawful under the laws of Saudi Arabia

We may remove any violating rating and suspend the account without notice. We take instructor complaints seriously and remove content shown to be abusive or false. Rating credit and its conditions are in section 3.

9. Photos, files and sharing

You can upload photos and files to any course in your schedule, and choose to share them with students in your own section. By uploading you agree that:

• The content you upload is your responsibility alone, and you confirm you have the right to upload it
• You may not upload material protected by someone else's rights without permission — such as a textbook or paid course material
• You may not upload exam papers, homework or quizzes or their solutions, or anything that breaches the university's regulations or academic integrity
• You may not upload images of people without their knowledge, nor anyone's personal data
• You may not upload anything unlawful under the regulations of Saudi Arabia

Photos and files stay private to you unless you choose to share them. Once shared, they appear only to students in the same section and without your name, and you can stop sharing or delete them at any time. The limit is 10 MB per file, and we may set or adjust an overall storage limit to keep the service running.

Shared content carries a report button. We may remove any reported or violating content, and suspend an account that repeatedly violates these terms, without prior notice. We do not guarantee that any uploaded file is kept forever — keep your own copy.

10. Absences, deadlines and reminders

The absence counter, course deadlines and reminders are personal organisation tools based on what you enter yourself:

• The absence calculation is indicative only — the official reference is the attendance record held by the university and your course instructor, and the exclusion threshold is determined by university regulations, not by this site
• We accept no responsibility for any academic consequence arising from relying on the counter or on a deadline reminder
• Reminders are sent on Telegram and may be delayed or fail to arrive for the same reasons listed under limitation of liability

11. Acceptable use

You may not:

• Attempt to breach the service or bypass subscription limits or the assistant's limits
• Use automated tools to scrape data or overload the server
• Redistribute site data commercially without permission
• Impersonate others or create fake accounts
• Exploit invites, credit or ratings through fake accounts or any other trick
• Use the assistant or uploaded files to complete graded work, or to archive homework, quizzes and exams or share their solutions

Violations lead to immediate suspension without refund, and cancellation of any credit gained through them.

12. Intellectual property

The site's design, code and name belong to us. Course data originates from the university's publicly published schedule and belongs to its owners. Your rating remains yours; by posting it you grant us the right to display it on the site. The photos and files you upload likewise remain yours; by uploading them you grant us the right to store them and show them to you, and to your section-mates if you choose to share them — we use them for nothing else.

13. Termination

• You may delete your account any time by contacting us. Deleting it ends your subscription and your credit lapses, so request any refund you are owed (section 4) before deleting
• We may suspend accounts that violate these terms
• If we shut the service down permanently, we will give subscribers at least 30 days' notice and refund each of them the amount they paid in cash, with no fees deducted: in full if their subscription has not covered any day of a registration or add/drop period, otherwise in proportion to the days remaining in their subscription. Credit lapses when the service shuts down

14. Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms. Material changes will be announced in the app; continued use afterwards constitutes acceptance. A change never alters the price or duration of a subscription you paid for before it.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of its competent courts.
